Lexington Tapered Shaker
The Lexington is a softer variation of the classic shaker style. It retains the flat, recessed panel and frame. Instead of an square inside edge of the door frame, the inside edge is tapered or beveled typically at a 45 degree angle. The tapered inside edge creates a delicate shadow line softening the overall appearance without compromising the shaker look. A popular advantage is the beveled edge makes cleaning the door easier.
