Abingdon A Edge Shaker

The A Edge Shaker is a subtle modification to the classic shaker door where the outside edge of the frame is shaped with what is called an A edge profile. Not only does this add an understated detail which retains the classic lines of a shaker door with a gentle curve on the outside perimeter.  This profile is intentionally minimal and subtle. The result is a contemporary profile that respects the minimalist nature of the shaker while incorporating a slight detail that softens the outer edges.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Abingdon A Edge Shaker has the same 2 piece construction as the standard Winchester Shaker style except the outside edge of the frame is shaped with an A edge.

FINISH OPTIONS

-Primed and sanded, ready to be finished.

-Finished with color of choice.

 

HINGE BORING OPTIONS

 

  • Standard hinge boring, 4” from the top or bottom of the door.

  • 1/8″ tab distance.

  • Boring for either screw-in or press-in hinges.

  • No hinge boring.

SIZE SPECIFICATIONS AND TOLERANCES

 

Keavalo manufactures all doors to the nearest 1/16″ or 1.6mm, allowing for a tolerance of +/-1/32″ or +/-0.8mm.

Doors over 48” tall are recommended to have a center rail.

The maximum height or width dimensions for MDF panels is 96″.
